SendLock Terms of Service
Effective date: 08/18/25
1) Agreement
By installing or using SendLock you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Promise at https://www.sendlock.com/privacy-promise. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2) What SendLock Does
SendLock is a Chrome extension that delays Gmail sends for about 60 seconds and lets you cancel. During the delay we count how many times you edit the draft so you can see how often the buffer prevents mistakes. We do not read or store email content. See the Privacy Promise for details.
3) Accounts and Licensing
You may need an account or license. Licenses are per user. Do not share them. If you purchase a subscription you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account. Access continues through the end of the paid period.
4) Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the service. No copying, reselling, reverse engineering, interfering with the extension, or using it in violation of laws or workplace policies.
5) Google Services
SendLock runs inside Gmail and may rely on Google services. SendLock is not provided by Google. If SendLock ever uses Google APIs, we will comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy including the Limited Use requirements.
6) Software Changes
We may add, change, or remove features. We may update the extension automatically to the latest version.
7) Termination
We may suspend or end access for violations or risk to the service. You can uninstall the extension at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
8) Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SendLock will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
10) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SendLock harmless from claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
11) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflicts rules. Venue sits in Wisconsin state or federal courts.
12) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
